  Went to the Woodbridge location a few months ago with some friends it it was surprisingly good. Good food, good people and great atmosphere. Tonight I had a date with the Mrs and she suggested to go to the Jack Astors here in Brampton. It never crossed my mind so I said sure as I remembered the previous experience. It was packed which surprised me and raised my expectations and I can assure you I was not disappointed. The food was terrific, the staff were very friendly and welcoming (5 stars for the hostess and our waiter, Tom), and the atmosphere was excellent. Highly recommend.

  Very fun place any night of the week. The bar staff is fun, the food is fun and the drinks are fun. The patio is very nice in the summer. All in all it's a great place to be any day of the week

  I brought my wife to this location for her 30th birthday with our two kids tonight. We were placed at a table at around 6pm.
  We waited 25 minutes before we left. If anyone with kids knows how difficult it can be to entertain kids at a table. Servers were walking by us every 30 seconds and nobody even greeted us.
  On the way out I did speak to a female manager who offered to comp our whole meal. Which is a nice compliment but I'd rather service then a free meal. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant as I just wanted to take my wife out for her birthday. I can't see myself going back here anytime soon, which is too bad because I've been going here since this restaurant first opened.

  Jackastors is definitely not a place given a choice I'd want to eat at again.. Each time I've gone there are like 4 people standing up at the hosting area, who don't seem to care and all give fake smiles. I didn't go during a busy time so the wait was pretty short.. Although I hate how fast paced this location is it feels more like they're just interested in offering food and music rather than a good experience. As soon as my company and I sat they wrote the time we walked in onto our table.. It's like straight from the beginning there isn't the feeling that we were welcomed or wanted. Beyond our nonexistent welcoming there really is no real service in my opinion. Our waiter was okay... but I am yet to have my drink (of water) refilled without an ask or even a server ask how my experience/food is.The food it self has not been anything special, in matter of fact my last experience getting their BBQ burger and poutine it just didn't taste appetizing, and at $20 I'm sad to say it was a complete waste of money.

  With all that said i think this location needs to work on welcoming their customers, upgrading the service- servers should be able to attend more to their tables, asking them if they need anything, refilling Water (at least) and saying "welcome to ____" and "have a great day" and finally revamping the menu.
