  All in the party who ate the apparently same chicken out of the the three that were purchased got bad diarrhea. We will never purchase again and do not not want any contact from Martin's bbq. We had a horrible experience and find that we deserve proper food handiling process as well as reputable food suppliers to take action when feeding people let alone our children. Stay away!! Spending $100 on food we can't take back is something that needs to be addressed by our government.

  SINCE NEW OWNER: Place is dirty, tables and chairs are old and falling apart, bathroom is something out of a horror movie. Can get same food at a basic Portuguese chicken place.

  Worst experience ever. They are inconsiderate and ruined our Boxing day party. We ordered foo for 30 people and provided a credit card to process the payment of 214.70 on my MBNA. Order was taken by Steven and cc processed by Jay. Was told that i need to come pick up the food by 3 pm. I showed up at 3 pm and the place was closed. We had 30 people arriving for dinner at 5 pm. They left us scrambling for food at the last minute. I called them the next day to ask what happened and was told they had kitchen problems. Great thanks for the warning.I explained how livid I was and was told the owner would call me. It's been 2 weeks and still no call. They really need a lesson in customer service skills. If there was a way to give them a negative star I would. Thanks for ruining our annual boxing day dinner. Thanks for processing my credit card before delivering product or service as well.

  Placed an order on Dec 13th for boxing day as had 37 people coming over. On Dec 26 at 9:30 am received a phone call stating they will not be able to process my order as they have no power in the kitchen. Thank goodness that Fortinos was open. I have been trying to get my money back as I too had my credit card debited before I picked up my order. Since Jan 3/17 I have called ans spoken to Jay and advised my credit card would be credited and I would see it in a week. I called again on jan 1317 spoke to Kevin and advised he would credit my card that same day. I have gone to the restaurant looking for Jay. He is never there doesn't return phone calls. I again on Jan 15th was promised by Kevin that I would see the payment the following day and that he would forward a receipt. I'm still waiting for a receipt and My $370.64. These people are unprofessional and crooks. It's my money and I have to chase them to try and get it. Will never recommend this place. Go-to Nova Esperanca jf you want good chicken
