  I don't hate it but it definitely doesn't make it on the top of my list. The food is not top notch -not even close (basically no veggie options). The last time I went, my friend found a hair in his calamari! The host was very nice and replaced it immediately and apologized a lot. But it was sort of a turn off. Besides that, the atmosphere is chill and the place is nice and clean. I'll go there for drinks but not for food.

  If I could give this place 0 stars I would, worst dining experience I have ever had!!!
  
  I came in with a friend for dinner and we both ordered our meals at the same time. After waiting about an hour (and after my friend was almost finished​ her food that had come out earlier), I finally got my food. However, I was disappointed to find that I was given the chicken green curry when I ordered the veg green curry. After bringing this to the attention of the waitress, she apologized for the error made by the kitchen and said that she would bring out my correct order.
  
  The waitress then brings out my "correct" order of the veg green curry. I take one bite of the curry and my mouth is on fire due to the level of spice in the dish. Typically I have a very high spice tolerance level but given the extreme level of spice in the one bite I took I almost felt as though it must have been maliciously made so spicy that it isn't even edible. I asked my friend to take a bite just to confirm it indeed was extremely spicy and she found the level of spice to be intolerable as well. I told the waitress to take my food back because I wasn't able to eat another bite of it and my lips were still burning from the spice in the first bite.
  
  I usually never badly review a restaurant or make a complaint but I have never been so put off by a dining experience in my entire life as I have been at Slumdog Bar and Grill. All the restaurant offered me was to not charge me for the meal and I otherwise left the restaurant extremely dissatisfied with the food and service and with an empty stomach as well.

  I came here a few months ago with my friend about 30-45 minutes before last call and we could only order drinks because the kitchen was closed. The bar area was a cute small area that appeared to be well-maintained, even by the end of the night with great staff. I forgot our server's name but she (and the bartender) was very friendly and professional, and made great conversation with us. The other guests in the bar were friendly and nice, and vibe was very upbeat. Although the cocktail drinks weren't absolutely mind-blowing, they were good for a decent price. Definitely will be returning when we're in the area again to try the food and more cocktails :)
