  My daughter and I went to the restaurant on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 and the restaurant was closed for renovations. It would have been nice if there was a notice or announcement of some kind. Not sure when it will be up and running again so call ahead. We had to make the long bus trip into Brampton without prior warning that the restaurant was closed.

  The yakitori keeps me coming back here! Totally worth it if you're able to make it for their lunch time special! Very quant place with a great menu that has a wide variety from sushi to hand rolls to non-sushi items. Totally recommend

  Easily my favourite sushi in Ontario from all I've tried. I'm used to coastal Vancouver sushi for most of my life, and Tokyo Maki comes as close as I can hope to that same feel and quality of fish and sushi. I will always come back here. The manager is there almost every day (if not every single day), always working as hard or harder than his staff. Great place. Great food.

  The manager here has no sense of customer service. I have been going to this place for years ordering the same food items and one of the rolls at my last visit tasted off. I brought it to the managers attention and he made a scene in front of the entire restaurant saying I had "no logic" because the rolls are always made fresh. He continued to make a scene by going to the kitchen and bringing back the food idem and eating it with his hands in front of our table. I was so disgusted with his behavior. I then found out the day before my visit they were dealing with a pest infestation.. I will not be going back nor do I recommend this restaurant to anyone.
